Parking & Transportation

Parking in structures surrounding Galen Center is complimentary for USC Commencement Ceremony ticketed guests.

Venue Information

Plan ahead and determine your route in advance. Use navigation and traffic apps like Waze or Google Maps to avoid delays.

For public transportation, there are (2) two Metro stops close by (Jefferson and Exposition) that are walkable distance to the venue.

Rideshare drop-off and pick-up is located on Flower Street as well as limited loading zones located on Figueroa St.

Building Entry & Security

• Tickets are required for this event. Please have your ticket ready to scan on your mobile device.
• Friday & Saturday Ceremonies: All doors are open for entry.
• Faculty and Staff attending the event will be allowed to use their USC Staff ID card for entry.
• Doors open 2 hours before each ceremony.
• Arrive at the doors at least 30 minutes before your ceremony begins.
• All ceremonies are General Admission seating and will be available on a first come first serve basis.
• Be prepared for metal detector screening and ensure all belongings comply with the USC Clear Bag Policy.

Prohibited Items

• Photography cameras are allowed in The Galen Center; however, video cameras and tripods are not permitted within Galen Center. All commercial uses of photographs depicting game action are allowed only through licensing agreement. Camera lenses are limited to 3 inches.
• Balloons, beach balls, confetti, and noise-making devices are not permitted.
• Limited shade is available outside of the Galen Center. Please anticipate higher temperatures between ceremonies.
• The Galen Center is cashless—only credit/debit cards and mobile payments are accepted.
• Tailgating is not permitted in the parking lot.
