USC Galen Center

The Guest Services department at Galen Center strives to provide excellent service to all our guests, including those guests with disabilities & accessibility needs. The following section highlights our services.

Accessible Seating

Galen Center can accommodate guests in wheelchairs or with restricted mobility. Individuals who require accessible seating because of a disability are permitted to purchase tickets for accessible seats.

  • Accessible seating can be located at the top of sections 103, 104, 105, 106, 115, 116 & 117 on the main concourse level.
  • For additional seating in the upper-level sections, accessible seating can be found in sections 201, 202, 204, 205, 206, 207, 208, 217, 218 & 219.

Some events are General Admission (GA) and do not include an advanced seat reservation. For these events, accessible seats are available on a first come, first served basis.

Tickets for accessible seats may be sold to individuals who require accessible seating themselves or to someone purchasing on their behalf. Individuals with disabilities who do not require the specific features of accessible seating but merely prefer them are not entitled to purchase accessible seats. Reserved seating in designated sections is available in advance, on a season or individual event basis, based on availability and depending on the type of ticket sale.

On event day, guests who previously purchased a non-accessible game ticket but require accessible seating will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis, based on availability.

For guests requiring assistance accessing upper-level seats in the Galen Center, elevators are located in the northwest corner of the building (closest to the north doors near the Jefferson Street and Figueroa Street intersection). Guests who enter via the south entrance (closest to the McCarthy Way & Figueroa Street Structures) may cross through the lower concourse to access the northwest-side elevators.

Accessible Drop-Off and Pick Up

Drop-off and pick-up for guests with disabilities should be made on either one of the loading zones cutouts, located on Jefferson Street (near the north door entrance) and Figueroa Street (south entrance). Please be aware drop-off and/or pick-up may be difficult due to heavy traffic and congestion. Due to post-game traffic patterns, pick-up in this area may be delayed until streets can be re-opened for access.

Accessible Parking and Public Transportation

ADA accessible parking is available in various parking structures including:

  • Figueroa Street Parking Structure
  • Shrine Parking Structure
  • Royal Street Parking Structure
  • McCarthy Way Parking Structure (no elevator)
  • Additional street parking on Flower Street for larger sold-out events

Marked ADA spaces may not be reserved in advance and are subject to availability based on arrival. Parking permit holders may park in ADA spaces, provided they have a valid ADA placard to do so. Due to an extremely high demand for accessible parking, the parking structures unfortunately may be unable to accommodate all of our guests, so please arrive early to ensure that you have a space in a lot. Please arrive with your state-issued placard and identification, and parking personnel will guide you to your parking area. Event parking rates may vary per event.

Guests with disabilities may also choose to take public transportation. Please visit the Public Transportation page for details.

Please visit Accessibility on Metro for information specifically about the LA Metro and accessibility.

Service Animals

Service animals are welcome inside Galen Center. A service animal must have a harness, leash, or tether unless the handler’s disability precludes use of tethers, or the tether would interfere with the service animal’s ability to safely perform its work or tasks. In these cases, the service animal must be under the control of the handler (i.e., voice commands, hand signals, or other effective means).

If you intend to bring a service animal to the building, please notify your ticket representative at the time of purchase so that an aisle seat may be reserved for you if available. Guests with service animals are responsible for cleaning after them and for their appropriate behavior toward other guests and Galen Center personnel. Failure to do so may result in the animal’s removal from the stadium. Galen Center is not responsible for the care or supervision of a service animal.
